Accordingliy in June 1998, Rashtriya Shikshan Sanstha set up Swami Vivekanand Night College of Arts and Commerce in Dombivli which is the first night Degree College in Thane District.

About Our Institution
Way back in 1998, Dombivli was a city with number of Junior & Degree Colleges accommodating thousands of students. However, there was not even a single College which could cater to the needs of employed youth. The Rashtriya Shikshan Sanstha rose to the occasion & started its night College in 1998, thus claiming a rare distinction of pioneering the Night College Concept in Thane district of Maharashtra.
Today, the College is in its teens and yet to grow fully. But in spite of the short innings it has played, our College has become an instrument in providing access to Higher Education to employed for promotion in job or social status & thereby transforming the social fabric of the area. These laurels have brought faith and fame to the institution.
